Thoughts:
Debra – Nice easy walk – uninspiring landscape
Mark – Boring as “bate de mierda ” – walk easy
We stayed at Hotel Catalonia Las Canas on the outskirts of Logroño. Much of the day was spent walking through Logroño itself and then through a large recreation reserve on the outskirts. It was a public holiday for “workers day” and hence there were many families around.
The walk was largely uninspiring, although some of the views from hills overlooking Logroño were very pleasant.
Cindy developed a recurrence of an old foot injury and need treatment on the way. For the first time we weren’t all able to stay at the same hotel. Cindy stayed by herself at a hotel on the outskirts of Navarrete which brought back memories of “The Shining” – uninhabited dark corridors. The rest of us stayed at Hotel Ray Sancho which was very comfortable.
The highlight of the day was the church at Navarette.

Love the Pilgrim Mark photo. One to scare little children!
