Thoughts:
Debra – I thought the Pyrenees was a difficult walk that is until today – beautiful walk though
Mark – The most beautiful walk but by far the toughest day

Today  offered some of the most beautiful views on the Camino but also some of the most difficult descents. The day also saw us passing one of the iconic symbols on the Camino – Cruz de Ferro. Another highlight was the abundant wildflowers and wild lavender.

Most pilgrims we encountered felt that the day was an enormous struggle and were glad to reach Molinaseca. This was one of the prettiest towns we had encountered so far on the Camino which was enhanced by us encountering a local fiesta. Once again we were joined at dinner by Andy who is on a similar itinerary to us.

We stayed at Hostal el Palacio which was a beautiful hotel overlooking the Río Meruelo.
