Thoughts:
Debra – Beautiful walk, probably my favourite day so far
Mark – Short but wonderful

Today was the shortest day we had planned so far being only 14 kilometres. We started out at 07:30 and had one of the prettiest walks on the Camino thus far. We descended from the heights of Alto do Poio to the small town of Triacastela and were afforded beautiful views of rolling valleys, low hanging clouds and wooded pathways.
We arrived about 11 am. After attending to some domestic chores (such as washing and shopping), we spent the afternoon drinking with pilgrims from Australia, El Salvador and South Korea. Even amongst such a diverse group, Julia is competing for blister of the year. She could be the forerunner for the monthly prize on blister.com. So all up, today was very restful and much enjoyed by all.

We are staying at Pension Lemos which is very comfortable and modern. In small towns like Tricastela, every where is “centrally located”. We have once again been blessed by perfect weather.
