We left the lovely hamlet of Olveiroa hopeful of a reasonably fine day so as we could get a beautiful view of the the coastline as we walked towards it. Five hours and twenty kilometres later, we arrived in Cee as drowned rats in steady rain and a heavy mist. We didn’t see the sea at Cee (sorry can’t help ourselves) until we almost fell into the water. We went to our hotel as bedraggled rats and the kind lady who ran the place did our washing and drying for €5 – it was so good.
Cee itself is a pretty little fishing town, and would be quite lovely on a fine day.
The walk itself was pretty enough in the rain, but we probably missed some spectacular views due to concentrating on the path and the inclement conditions. We had a beautiful view from our room, and it was really very cosy.
Tomorrow we are hoping for finer weather when we walk to Finisterre.
