Debra – Felt a bit flat – scenery unremarkable
Mark – Iconic Camino walk – loved the scenery

Geoff – Best coffee and croissants – scenic with all shades of green
Cindy – Great walk, loved it – beautiful special day
The day began with a visit to Irache Bodegas where free wine was on tap. The scenery today was largely of lush fields of grains and crops. These were interspersed with small picturesque towns. There were mixed views today on how special today’s walk was. Polling revealed some division within the pilgrim group on just how “special” today’s walk was. 80% loved it whereas 20% was left unimpressed (“too much wheat – we need to be gluten free”).
Ours accommodations in Apartmentos Los Arcos is very comfortable and we would recommend staying there. Los Arcos itself is a fairly typical quaint Spanish town. Had our first Pilgrim meal – €12 for three courses (Vegetarian lasagne, Salmon and vegetables and Pannacotta) including wine and bread. Certainly made up for yesterday’s horror meal.
